I created this blog when my sweet little girl, Kristen, was diagnosed with cancer, for the third time. After fighting for almost 3 years Kristen was called home to that same God who gave her life. I've contemplated on many occasions rather I should quit this blog or not. Each time I am inspired that I should not. One of my favorite quotes comes from Neal A. Maxwell- "Those who "plow in hope" not only understand the law of the harvest but they also understand what growing seasons are all about. True, those with genuine hope may see their proximate circumstances shaken like a kaleidoscope at times, yet with the "Eye of faith" they still see divine design." Kristen blessed lives and continues to do so. Her light continues to shine. As for me, I continue to "plow in hope" knowing well that Kristen is mine for eternity. Families can be together forever! This I know. Our family continues to live and to love and this is our story...

miracles

miracles happen

I have seen many miracles in my life.
Some I have shared and some are kept deep in my heart
and penned in my personal journal.

Two weeks ago I received a call from my mother in law.
Her voice was full of excitement.
She exclaimed that she had gone outside to look for grandpa.
She was surprised to find him driving the tractor tilling up the garden.
I told her I would be right over and that I would bring my camera.
She was right!
It was quite the sight.
He was sitting comfortably in the drivers seat.
I snapped a few pictures as we stood and watch.
I leaned over to her and said,
"Just think where he was a year ago."
She replied,
"It's such a miracle!"
She was right again.
It was last year at this time that he was diagnosed with lymphoma.
His kidneys were suffering greatly and honestly
things did not look good for grandpa.
He received a priesthood blessing and many prayers were
offered in his behalf.
Prayers were answered.

I can hardly wait to see his garden!
