I created this blog when my sweet little girl, Kristen, was diagnosed with cancer, for the third time. After fighting for almost 3 years Kristen was called home to that same God who gave her life. One of my favorite quotes comes from Neal A. Maxwell- "Those who "plow in hope" not only understand the law of the harvest but they also understand what growing seasons are all about. True, those with genuine hope may see their proximate circumstances shaken like a kaleidoscope at times, yet with the "Eye of faith" they still see divine design." Kristen blessed lives and continues to do so. Her light continues to shine. As for me, I continue to "plow in hope" knowing well that Kristen is mine for eternity. Families can be together forever!

just because

I have to post a few pictures of the kiddies
just because they are so darn cute!

Today during the afternoon session of conference Brooke will be singing
as part of this 360 member children's choir.
They have been rehearsing for several weeks.
Last week I was able to take her to dress rehearsal.
They sounded amazing.
I can hardly wait to watch it!

Why not have bread with lots of butter and a sugar cookie for breakfast?
That's what you can expect when you spend the morning with this grandma.

Look what I found for Kristen...
A fabulous PINK pumpkin!
It's perfect for her.

These little ones were out in the field choosing their pumpkins when I
decided it would be great to pull the old tractor out by the apple tree and surround
it with all of the left over pumpkins.
We really LOVE Fall

I've got these candles burning and have to say that I love them!

I'm right there with you sister.
