I created this blog when my sweet little girl, Kristen, was diagnosed with cancer, for the third time. After fighting for almost 3 years Kristen was called home to that same God who gave her life. One of my favorite quotes comes from Neal A. Maxwell- "Those who "plow in hope" not only understand the law of the harvest but they also understand what growing seasons are all about. True, those with genuine hope may see their proximate circumstances shaken like a kaleidoscope at times, yet with the "Eye of faith" they still see divine design." Kristen blessed lives and continues to do so. Her light continues to shine. As for me, I continue to "plow in hope" knowing well that Kristen is mine for eternity. Families can be together forever!

just for fun

So one day last week Kim, Nora and I pulled into McDonald's for my fix of the day.
It's true, I'm addicted to coke, the coca cola kind.
Kim decided to order Nora a kids meal.
She ordered a ketchup only cheese burger.

Kim pulled it out of the bag and this is what she found.....

I don't know the last time I laughed so hard.
Kim nearly had to pull off the road cause she was laughing so hard.
Seriously, who does that?

Next we pulled into the mall parking lot. I soon spotted this sign and
knew it was a good day to  have Kim in the car.
Another good laugh.

Next we stopped at the Healing Field.
A wonderful sight.
It was first organized in 2003 as a way to visualize the sheer enormity of human loss
that occurred in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Nora wasn't too happy, she was probably still mad about her cheeseburger!

One of our bunnies escaped. This little one is a little nervous
watching Rich dive into the bushes.

Oh ya, the pumpkins are ready!

I LOVE Crisp autumn mornings,
falling leaves and pumpkin pie.
Tomorrow I'm off to find the perfect candle.
