I created this blog when my sweet little girl, Kristen, was diagnosed with cancer, for the third time. After fighting for almost 3 years Kristen was called home to that same God who gave her life. One of my favorite quotes comes from Neal A. Maxwell- "Those who "plow in hope" not only understand the law of the harvest but they also understand what growing seasons are all about. True, those with genuine hope may see their proximate circumstances shaken like a kaleidoscope at times, yet with the "Eye of faith" they still see divine design." Kristen blessed lives and continues to do so. Her light continues to shine. As for me, I continue to "plow in hope" knowing well that Kristen is mine for eternity. Families can be together forever!

Easter and Bees

Spring has finally sprung!
We have been enjoying blossoms, flowers and Easter.
As a holiday approaches I always start decorating with Kristen's table.
She Loved every single holiday.

I made treats for all of the kids.

Grandma K's Easter egg hunt

I thought I would be coloring eggs myself this year,
and then cute little Nora showed up to help.

My mom and dad have always had a fun egg hunt on Easter.
My dad started the tradition of putting quarters in all of the eggs.
My mom has continued the tradition.
The kids love it!

I made an attempt to get a picture of all 9 of my grandchildren.
It didn't go so well.
But they are all so cute.
It's okay, at least we tried.

Kristen is included in every single one of our celebrations.

Baby boy is getting as big as ever!

Last year we lost one of our bee hives.
I ordered another hive and we picked it up last week.
The bees seem a little crazy this time.
Richard and Ryan have both been stung already.

I love the hope and beauty of spring and of the Easter season.

"Through tears and trials, through fears and sorrows,
through the heartache and loneliness of losing loved ones,
there is assurance that life is everlasting.
Our Lord and Savior is the living witness that such is so."

Beautiful pictures! You have such a beautiful family. I absolutely loved the picture where 'she' is trying to contain the little sister? And the boy has a look on his face that says the baby is getting heavy. That's priceless!!
