I created this blog when my sweet little girl, Kristen, was diagnosed with cancer, for the third time. After fighting for almost 3 years Kristen was called home to that same God who gave her life. One of my favorite quotes comes from Neal A. Maxwell- "Those who "plow in hope" not only understand the law of the harvest but they also understand what growing seasons are all about. True, those with genuine hope may see their proximate circumstances shaken like a kaleidoscope at times, yet with the "Eye of faith" they still see divine design." Kristen blessed lives and continues to do so. Her light continues to shine. As for me, I continue to "plow in hope" knowing well that Kristen is mine for eternity. Families can be together forever!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I stumbled across this blog in search of a grief poem that someone had posted on my Facebook newsfeed. It's such a beautiful page and Kristen was such a beautiful girl. No judging involved, but it looks to me like you were blessed with a sweet young lady with Down syndrome? My brother had it, and he passed away just last summer from a sudden and severe heart attack at the age of twenty-one. His death has been difficult on all of us in my family, but I find comfort in searching for grief poems to keep his memory alive. I made a page to remember him by, but it's been neglected over the months since I made it much to my dismay, as I am a teenage girl who is very busy. I hope Kristen and my brother are dancing together in Heaven! -Courtney
